He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Grace Thom; his parents, John Thom and Adena Thom; and his siblings, Pauline, Kathleen, Wilfred and Carl.
He is survived by: his children, Mark (Ann), Norma Teerman (John), Karrie Mahrle (Dave McGill) and Dennis; his grandchildren, Zachary Thom, Bridgette Thom (Ryan Haney), Monica Konschnik (David), Jenna Turner (Chris), Jeff Jackson, Jeremy Mahrle, Steven Mahrle and Daniel Mahrle (Nicole); and his great grandchildren, Mabel, Teddy, Anna, Lucy, Leslie, Justin, Nolan and Carter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
