He was predeceased by: his parents, Sol Behrendt and Julia Ginsberg; and his children, Adele Rappaport, Farah Velazquez, Betty Monasterski, Charlie Behrendt, Phyliss Talbot, Theresa Behrendt and Gordon Behrendt.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Gibbs (Jamie) and David Behrendt (Linda); and his grandchildren, Ricky Gibbs, Cole Gibbs and Olivia Gibbs.
