He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Lowery and Rose Lowery (Nickless); his siblings-in-law, David Crockett, John Hill and Dorothy Lowery; and his friend Charlie Gilbert.

He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Lowery, Emma Crockett and Lillie Hill. He is also survived by six nephews, one niece, and 15 great-nieces and nephews.
