He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Shirley; his children, John Gillette (Judy), Mary Ellen Hildebrand (Mark), Jeffrey Gillette (Patricia) and Jay Gillette (Tracy); his grandchildren, Anthony Swanson, Christopher Swanson, Reid Gillette, Beth Grim (Tony), Jenny Kroner (Dave) and Jason Hildebrand (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Walter Spin, Alex, Megan Grim, Arlo, Lucy Kroner, Maddie and Collin Hildebrand; and his brothers, Robert "Bob" Gillette (Virginia) and Kenneth "Lowell" Gillette (Virginia).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
