He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvin Richardson and Caroline Richardson; his spouse Jan; his sons, Robert G., Tom (Charlotte) and Joseph (Selina); his grandchildren, Ashley and Willow; and his sons, Vasu and Rodgers. He was also cherished by his wife and sons.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bob's honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
