He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Brodeur and Alice Brodeur; his wife Patricia Brodeur; and his siblings, Fred Jr., Dennis, Tony Fr, Ted, Charles, Berneice and Barbara.

He is survived by: his son Dennis Brodeur (Vija); and his grandchildren, Bethany and Tyler.
