He was predeceased by: his wife Susanne Hunt; his great grandchild Iris; his parents, Michael Hunt and Cathrine Hunt; and his siblings, Marjorie Scully, Betty Waldie, Mary Lou Falconer, Kathy McLean, Joanne Lichowicz and Tim Hunt.
He is survived by: his children, Dana Kolito (Chris), Kelly Wilson (Todd) and Michael Hunt; his siblings, Larry Hunt and Bernie Etchells; his grandchildren, Dylan (Nicole), Hannah (Brennan), Elizabeth (Patrick), Brandon, Zachary (Mady), Jacob, Skyler (Madison), Cameron (Alex) and Christa (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Hayden, Abigail, Emery and Elle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The lying in state will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 9:30 AM. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Royal Oak (705 W Eleven Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the National Shrine (2100 12 Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48073).
