With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shane M. Mroz in Royal Oak, Michigan, born in Port Huron, Michigan, who passed away on April 23, 2026 at the age of 46. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Shane departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Shane. Though Shane may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his parents, Judy Mroz and Donald Mroz; his stepmother Susan Lapine; his girlfriend Christy Zantop; and his girlfriend's children, Kaitlyn and Connor. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor the memory of Shane Mroz and his love of children and animals in need are invited to consider a contribution to Shriners Hospital, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Humane Society of Huron Valley.
