He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gretchen Lehmann Allen and Eugene Donald Allen; his brothers, William and Robert; his sister-in-law Thea Werner; his niece Amy Werner-Allen; his nephews, Jonathan Werner-Allen and Geoffrey Challen; and his cousins, Jan Carey, Peggy Johnson, Judy Johnson and Nancy Burgess. He was also cherished by five great-nieces.
