She was predeceased by: her mother Myrtle Mattson (Fisher); and her in-laws, Laurel "Jack" Short Jr. and Willia Maxine Short. She is survived by: her father Albin Mattson; her husband Jeff; her sons, Jesse D. Short (Liz Thompson) of Mackinac Island, Jared D. Short (Harley) of Rudyard and Jaxon D. Short of Rudyard; her grandchildren, Julia A. Short and Waylon Short; and her brothers, Albin Mattson Jr. of Newberry, William Mattson (Debbie) of Illinois, Joseph Mattson (Bonnie) of Grand Rapids and Leon Mattson (Tracy) of Grand Rapids. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
