He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgia Cooper and James Cooper. He is survived by: his children, Melvin Smith (Magnolia) of Forrest City, AR, William D. Cooper of Cleveland, OH, Carl A. Cooper of Atlanta, GA, Linda F. Tatum (Christopher) of Saginaw, MI, Kathy M. Loveless (Torrye) of Atlanta, GA and Georgette Flowers of Southfield, MI. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
