He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred E. Cereske and Frances M. Cereske (Maxham); and his siblings, Frances Pop (James), Mary Hoerger and David Cereske.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Elaine Cereske of Saginaw; his sons, Thomas Cereske (Kim) of Saginaw, Dr. Kurt Cereske of Austin, TX and Eric Cereske (Jen) of Gilbert, AZ; his grandchildren, Laurin Cereske, Hannah Cereske, Marisa Afonso (Marco), Hailey Cereske (Anthony Silva), Nolan Cereske and Adria Cereske; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Cereske and Bruce Hoerger. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to express their sympathy may consider a memorial to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Michigan Lutheran Seminary Foundation, or Christian Life Resources.
