With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Atheda Pearl Booker of Saginaw, Michigan, born in Peoria, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 24, 2025 at the age of 95. As we bid adieu to Atheda's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Atheda has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clem Beryl and Edith Clark; her daughter Estelle Booker; and her sisters, Marion Turner and Joanne Williams.
She is survived by: her husband Louis Booker Jr.; and her children, Eunice Morris of Saginaw, MI, Robert Colvin of Saginaw, MI, Deborah Morris of Saginaw, MI, Lucinda Bell of Jacksonville, FL, Verl Booker of Kingsland, GA and Muriel Roberts (Timothy) of Woodbine, GA.. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
