Bessie Mae Nash Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Mae Nash of Saginaw, Michigan, born in Bishopville, South Carolina, who passed away on September 19, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Glener Simon-Prince; her son Herman Kevin Wearrien; her brother Sam Simon (Wendy) of Flint, MI; her father Harry Simon-Prince; her husband Herman Wearrien; and her brothers, Glen "Buc" Simon, Robert "Rob" Simon, Harry Bubba and James Nash.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Nicole Strong-Wearrien (Carolton Whitley); her great grandchildren, Caaleb Murray of Grand Rapids, MI and Chayce Whitley of Grand Rapids, MI; her daughter-in-law LaCresha Wearrien; her stepgranddaughter Ericka Cooper (Darius Williams); her stepson Willie Lee Green of Atlanta, GA; her godson Sammy Bady; her siblings-in-law, Archeles Wearrien (Julia), Earl Wearrien (Mary Ann), Rebeca Reaves (Henry), Alfredia Williams, Ophelia Brown (George), Veronica Reaves (Elder Willie), Almanda Green (Oscar), Reverend Vernell Brabham (Herman), Teotha Wearrien and Shirley Ann Daniels; her niece Joyce M. Brown; and her nephew Glen Simon, Jr.. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Mother Nash loved going to church, however; during the Pandemic, she enjoyed VBM virtual service in the comfort of her home.
