She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Schmelzer and Eleanor Schmelzer (Piggott); and her brothers, Joseph and David Schmelzer. She is survived by: her children, Michelle White (Paul), Eric Nolish (Traci) and Matthew Nolish; her grandchildren, Kaylee, Brendan, Cameryn, Durgan, Payton and Jaxon; and her siblings, Carol "Tilly" LaFramboise and Jim Schmelzer (Annie). She is also survived by her children and their spouses, her grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Brenda's honor to support organizations close to her heart.
