With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Connie Castanon (Saginaw, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose Casarez and Toribia Casarez (Suarez); her husband Vincent Castanon; her siblings, Mary Casarez, Judy Jaime, Rose Guevara, Jesse Casarez, Frank Casarez, Michael Casarez, Leo Casarez and Josephine Espinoza; and her nephews, Julian Guevara and Anthony Espinoza.
She is survived by: her sister Margaret Gonzales; and her sibling's children, Ann Wamback, Steve Gonzales, Mike Gonzales, Patricia Huhn-Espinoza, Susan Marcoux, Laura Espinoza, Patrick Jaime, Christopher Jaime, Jennifer Chaira, Teresa Jaime-Peraza, John Jaime, Cathy Beck, Chris Guevara, James Guevara and David Casarez.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Paul II Catholic Church (469 Shattuck Rd, Saginaw, MI 48604). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. John Paul II Parish or St. Clare Sisters.
