She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Kolasa and Romaine Kolasa (Kazmierski); her brothers-in-law, Ronald Messing and David Zann; and her in-laws, Boleslave "Ben" and Valeria Kwapis.
She is survived by: her husband Val; her children, Anthony "Tony" Kwapis, Dr. Yvonne Kwapis and Lawrence "Larry" Kwapis (Michele); her grandchildren, Stephen, Sarah and Sophia; her sister Joan Zann; and her sister-in-law Patricia Messing. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
