He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Alderman and Lucille Alderman; his siblings, Mike Alderman, Dave Alderman and Dawn Davis; and his former wives, Linda Alderman and Gena Alderman.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Alderman (Diana), Roger Alderman and Richard Alderman; his grandchildren, Alex (Erica), Grant (Taylor), Lea (Mitchell), Devon and Kailyn (Carmen); his great grandchildren, Kenny, Veronica and Max; and his sister Rose "Rity" Dosh.
