David Gregory Bernier Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Gregory Bernier (Saginaw, Michigan), who passed away on July 15, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Miles Courtright; his nephew Matthew MacPhail; and his brothers-in-law, Ron Reimold, Dr. James Packer, Tony Smith and Greg Kreh.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Reimold, Sue Packer, Janet Johnson (Bob), Kathy Golden (Jim), Jeanne Shaw (Terry), Pam Veremis (Nick) and Patricia Coven; his wife Tammy Duperon; and his former wife Marilyn Gust Otten. He is also survived by in-laws, co-grandparents, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Snow Funeral Home (3775 N Center Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Those planning an expression of sympathy may, in lieu of flowers, consider donating to David's favorite organizations: the USO, Wounded Warrior, PragerU or the CAN Council GLBR. Covenant Healthcare Foundation might be considered as well, designated to Hospice.
