He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Wackerle (Lundbom); his stepfather Wes Wackerle; his father William Neering; and his siblings, Mark Neering and Kathryn Neering.
He is survived by: his brother James Neering (Beth); his nieces and nephews, Brad Neering (Gwen), Kelly Neering, Chris Neering, Carter, Sopheana and Lukas Neering; and his stepsiblings, Christine Russell (Gary) and John Wackerle.
