He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shelbrock and Betty Shelbrock. He is survived by: his wife Doris Shelbrock; his children, Jason Shelbrock, Susan Shelbrock, Greg Gardner and Jodi Braun (Jim); and his brother John "Jack" Shelbrock (Kathy).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Deisler Funeral Home (2233 Hemmeter Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603). The military honors was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
