He is survived by: his children, Jillian Denise Allen of Nashville, TN and Dennis LeRoy Allen II of Dallas, TX; his former wife Jill Malone; his friend Sandra Avery; his siblings, Mary Etta Lowery, Clarietha "Brandy" Allen, Carolyn Turner, Patricia Allen and Duane Allen; and his close friends, Sheldon "Snap" Matthews, Marvin Surles, Mark Patterson, Eddie "Bebe" Sanders and Alonzo "Doc" Betts. He is also survived by ten nieces, 11 nephews; a host of many great-nieces and great-nephews; a host of cousins.
