He was predeceased by: his father Donald J. Schark; his siblings, Sue Gunther and Dave Schark; and his parents-in-law, Helen, Otto Scharich and Ferdinand Reisig.
He is survived by: his mother Betty Schark (MacFarlane); his wife Deborah Reisig; his pet Brody; his great grandchild Alison; his children, Donald J. Schark, Corey DeLong (Brian) and Jennifer LaDouce (Mark); his grandchildren, Alison Winter (David), Claudia, Adeline DeLong, Jack and Alexander LaDouce; his siblings, Barbara Meier (Ferdy) and Jeffery Schark (Mary); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Schark, Patricia Bourdow (late Dan), Ginger Marx (Tom) and Joann Reisig (late Mike). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
