He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd L. Dye and Dolores A. Dye (Simkins); his daughter Robin L. Alpin; and his siblings, Shirley, Joyce and Darold.
He is survived by: his wife Janet L. Dye of Saginaw Township; his children, Renee Pack (James Westover) of Freeland, Roxanne L. Nestler (Tim) of McKinney, TX and Robert L. Dye of Freeland; his grandchildren, David Dye (Kayla), Leigh Alpin, Matthew Alpin (Brandy), Rachel Sarnacki (Nathan), Austin Nestler (Elizabeth), Alexandria Nestler, Lauren Dye and Magen Bolin (Joe); and his great grandchildren, Ivy, Roman, Autumn, Everett, Jack, Margaret, Will and Finnigan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
