She is survived by: her stepchildren, Ernest Birney, Mark Birney (Susan) and Susan Rettmann (Kenneth); her stepgrandchildren, Ernest Birney, Tricia Vo (Thang), David Birney (Lisa), Nickolas Birney, Ryan Rettmann (Melissa), Erin Smolenski (Stefan) and Scott Rettmann (Ashley); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Tabor, Zadok, Natalie, Bradley, Andie, Isla, Mara, Callum, Marcus, Nora, Spencer, Ellie and Grayson; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Mondor and Jean Burdo. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
