He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara; his parents, Chris Hare and Lucille Hare (Willson); his siblings, Harry Hare (Arlene), Donna Prange (Don), Joann Marx (Shirley), Donald Hare (Rita) and Marvin Hare (Nancy); his former wife Margaret "Midge" Hare; his son-in-law Kirk Ellsworth; his grandchildren, Danielle (Paul), Michael (Christy), Kirk (Madilyn) and Kelly (Courtney); his great grandchildren, Michaela, Connor, Rory, Kayleigh, Jave, Lilie, Kate, Jack, George, Bea, Sophia, Luke and Millie; and his friend Dan Groom.
Memorials in honor of Ernie may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, care of the church.
