He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Collison and Jane Collison (Nielsen); his father-in-law Walter Knowlton (Lucille Cronk-Looker); and his in-laws, Charles Harrington, Allison "Butch" Peck, Martin Knowlton, Donald Knowlton and Pamela Ashcraft.

He is survived by : his wife Ellen; his children, Martin Collison (Rosann), Dawn Pabst (Jacob) and Gayle Rappuhn (David); his grandchildren, Samantha Lindner (Rand) and Senior Airman Alexander Rappuhn; his great grandchildren, Aria, Dawson and Piper Lindner; his siblings, Michael "Mickey" Collison, Timothy Collison (Kathy), Jane Collison, Edward Collison, John Collison, Catherine Harrington, Charlotte "Charla" Peck, Nancy Collison, Lawrence Collison and Stephen Collison (Sarah); his in-laws, James Knowlton (Sandra), Shirley Knowlton and Joan Jernigan (Robert); and his friend Alma Medina. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
