He is survived by: his wife Dorthy; his daughters, Amy Viola and Julie Hodder; his stepdaughter Holly Allen (Shane); his brother David Hakes (Jana); his niece Susan Kaufmann (Scott); his nephew Tim Hakes (Jaci); his grandchildren, William, Mackenzie, Dylan, Emerson, Isabella, Gannon, Sarah, Anthony and Jacob; his sister-in-law Linda Florey; and his nieces, Mary and Traci.
