Gerald Hensler Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald Hensler of Saginaw, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2026 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald Hensler to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Hensler and Dorothea Hensler (Yahn); his wife Marlene Hensler (Kern); his in-laws, Erwin and Lorna Kern; his brother Richard Hensler (Diane); and his siblings-in-law, Harold Worden, Henrietta Hensler and Sharon Hensler.

He is survived by: his children, Scott (Mindy), Brian Hensler (Kathy) and Margo Fisher (Damian); his grandchildren, Spencer DeWaele, Stuart DeWaele, Jeff Hensler (Lindsay), Matt Hensler (Karli), Nolan Hensler and Cora Hensler; his great grandchildren, Daniel DeWaele, Leland Hensler and Betsy Marlene Hensler; his brothers, James Hensler and David Hensler; his cousin Fred Hensler; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Wojahn (Ed), Barabra Worden and Charlotte Cavelle (Casey).

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that any donations be directed to Peace Lutheran Church, Valley Lutheran High School, or the Castle Museum of Saginaw.
