He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Meyer and Virginia Meyer (Gnotek); his sister Shirley Herbert; and his siblings-in-law, Fred Kolar, Barbara Hansen and Paula Webb (Ben).
He is survived by: his wife Andrea L. Meyer of Saginaw; his sons, Stephen Meyer (Shannon), Daniel Mire and David Meyer; his stepchildren, Mark Warner (Kimberly) and Laura Goetz (Gavin); his grandchildren, Alexander, Zachary, Spencer, Evan, Ethan, Katherine and Maggie; his sister JoAnn Kolar; his brother-in-law Charles Hansen; Brandi Mire. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (3427 Adams Ave, Saginaw, MI 48602). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (950 N Center Rd, Saginaw, MI 48638).
