She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Verthein and Gertrude Verthein (Bainbridge); her brother Jerome A. Verthein (Geraldine); and her sister-in-law D. Jeanne Frederickson (Dale). She is survived by: her husband J. Richard Wharton; and her cousin Kathryn Hahn (Phillip) of Madison. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
