It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gregory Anderson (Saginaw, Michigan), born in Panola, Alabama, who passed away on June 25, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Jim Pope; and his grandparents, Dudley Pope, Bessie Edwards, Pete and Marthan Anderson.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Debra Braden; his mother Willie B. Anderson; his siblings, Thaddeous Anderson and Dr. Bernadette Anderson; his close friend Debra Braden; his aunts, Ethel Shaw (late Bobbie) and Mima Batiste (John); his nephew Jeremy Clark; and his cousins, ElGreco Shaw (Valerie), Wynita McClaine, Sharon Anderson and Leon Wilson. He is also survived by great nephews, great-grandnephews, and great-grandnieces.
