He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Brefka and Virginia Brefka (Kowalksi); and his sister Barb Henry. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy A. Jurumbo; his children, Michael Brefka (Lori) and Eirc Brefka (Julie); his grandchildren, Lucas Brefka, Sophia Brefka, Xander Brefka, Ian Brefka, Earl Hall, Jessica Hall and Brian Hall; his great grandchildren, Ella Hall, Monroe Hall and Chase Hall; his brother Cyril "Cy" Brefka; his siblings-in-law, Jean Klonowski, Deborah "Deb" Klonowski, Alice Cain (Brian), Elaine Jurumbo and Herbert Ziehl; his siblings, Ron Klonowski, Jim Klonowski, Bibiana Ziehl and Gary Klonowski; his parents-in-law, Adam and Sophie Jurumbo; his brother-in-law Art Henry; his siblings' children, Todd Klonowski and Rickijean; and his friend Greg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (3945 Williamson Rd, Saginaw, MI 48601). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church (3945 Williamson Rd, Saginaw, MI 48601).
