He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dolores Derige (Zamora) and Mariano Derige; his siblings, Diana Psetas (late George Psetas), Delia Derige (late Gary Parsh), Michele Derige and Paul Derige (Rosie McGraw Derige); his daughter Diana Nicole Derige (Luis M. Pagán); and his granddaughters, Alia Iselle Derige-Pagán and Mia Mariana Derige-Pagán. He was also cherished by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
