She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Chaperon and Velma Chaperon (DeKett). She is survived by: her significant other John William Draves; her children, Christopher Draves (Renee), Lori Kendall (Randy) and Teresa Newvine (Tom); her grandchildren, Ryan Newvine (Alahna), Alyssa Geese (Dustin), Molly Root (Adam), Allie Kendall, Kara Hinton (Gary), Danielle Draves and Spencer Draves; her great grandchildren, Ryder, Hinley, Ruby, Stella, Royce, Laekyn, Lily and Eloise; and her brother Mike Chaperon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A vigil service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Snow Funeral Home (3775 N Center Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the Good Shepherd Parish - St. Helen (2445 N Charles St, Saginaw, MI 48602). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Snow Funeral Home (3775 N Center Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603).
