James R. Malott Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R. Malott (Saginaw, Michigan), who passed away on December 27, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Malott and Margaret Malott (Osterman); his siblings, Margaret Dubay (Don), Kate Vlassis (Ted), Joan Schoen (Tom), Pat Chelsky (Tom) and Chuck Malott (Ruth); his siblings-in-law, Jean Malott and Jim Score; and his son-in-law Jonny Heinz.

He is survived by: his wife Sara Ellen Score; his children, Cindy Heinz (Tim Hodges), Karen Markey (Dan), Jamie Thompson (Scott Kaleyta), Libby Richter (Roger), Lisa Malott (Jeff Jezak) and Ronald Malott (Julia Morris); his grandchildren, Cari, Heidi, Leah, Kaytlyn (Chazz), Ryan, Lauryn, Sophia (Alexis), Samuel (Alaina), Stella, Mitchell, Madison (Andrew), Nathan and Alex; his great grandchildren, Nikolas, Jacob, Cyruss, Cruz, Callie, Carson, Maverick and Levi; his great great grandchild Robert; his brother Leonard P. Malott Jr.; and his sister-in-law Kay Score. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
