He was predeceased by: his parents, James Silva and Mary Louise Silva (Robles); his siblings, David Silva, Cyril "Cootie" Silva and Agnes Silva; and his siblings-in-law, John Cosher (Dorothy), Fred Rocha, Richard Leach, Carlos Castellanos, Richard Bissonette and Ann Silva.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Ann Cosher; his daughters, Melissa Ann Coonan (Scott) and Theresa Marie Davis (Eric); his grandchildren, Haley Childs (Jacob), Jacob Hawes (Courtney), Mackenzie Heckaman (Corey), Tayla Slaybaugh, Maegan Pitts (Eric), Amber Davis, Eric Andrew Davis and Jordan Davis; his great grandchildren, Layne, Elliot, Ian, Oliver, Ainsley, Elliott, Casey and Emmet; and his sisters, Christine Rocha, Frances "Punch" Olvera, Irene Leach, Mary Alma Castellanos and Kathy Bissonette.
