Jerry Evans Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Evans (Saginaw, Michigan), who passed away on October 21, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jerry Evans to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Evans and Marion Evans; and his sister JoAnne Pavolsky (Dick). He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Wellman); his children, Jeffrey Evans (Cathy), Gregory Evans (Ravina), Jennifer Evans (Henrik), Kimberly Gorsline (Gregory), Michelle Kristalyn (William) and Janelle Montroy (Andrew); and his grandchildren, Zachary (Morgan), Selena, Isabel, Gregory (Sierra), Brooke, Jordan, William, Benton, David, Evelyn, Joseph, George and Charlie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Cederberg Brietzke Funeral Home (403 N Michigan Ave, Saginaw, MI 48602). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Dominic Parish (2711 Mackinaw St, Saginaw, MI 48602). A committal service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Andrews Cemetery (381 St Andrews Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603). Because doctors "never retire," he worked as part of the Social Security Disability office up until the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, when he was finally able to take it easy on South Padre Island, Texas- enjoying morning runs, swims and the beautiful tropical weather.
