He is survived by: his wife Esmeralda; his children, Rita Everett (David), Rosalinda "Roe" Barrera, Ann Elizabeth Jamrog (Johnny), Stephanie Dahms and John Barrera Jr. (Leslie); and his siblings, Guadalupe Perez (Fred), Mary Perez (Richard), Rebecca Gomez (Mark), Yolanda Barrera, Jesse Barrera, Linda Barrera and Ramon Barrera. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
