John Edward Specht Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Edward Specht of Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on March 16, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Amelia Specht and Victor Specht; his wife Eugenia "Gena" Lurine Specht; his brother Victor Specht; his grandson Brian Hoard; Lola Nicks.

He is survived by: his daughter Melody (Kyle Sutton); his grandchildren, Iris and MacKenzie; his daughter Paula Crouch; his grandchildren, Kelly Hoard and Alex Crouch; his son Bill (Jen Thompson); and his nephew Eugene Nicks. He is also survived by siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to contribute the First Baptist Church of Bridgeport.
