He was predeceased by: his children, David, Sabrina, Angelo and Christina; his brothers, Rudy (Wedo) and Henry; and his parents, Trinidad Torrez (Trine) and Jose Torrez Sr..
He is survived by: his daughter Jade Wagner (Ybarra); his wife Estella Torrez; and his sisters, Florinda, Yolanda and Gloria.
It quickly became a Mexican restaurant staple in Saginaw until closing it's doors during the pandemic in 2022.
