He is survived by: his siblings, Dwayne and Terry Sullivan (Renee); his children, Autumn Marshall (Josh), Kayla Allen (Mike), Grant Kleinert (Chelsea) and Kara Guster (Kyle); and his grandchildren, Brandon, Carsyn Marshall, Grace, Isla Allen, Emersyn Guster and Grayson Kleinert.

“Hello Donna, This is Bill and Darlus Kumpula, neighbors at Houghton Lake. Even though we are still in Florida, we did hear of Joe’s passing - so shocking and sad. Only knowing Joe a short time I could tell he was a man who loved his life and family. He told me about his family visits while away from Houghton Lake and staying home from Florida to watch your grandson play hockey. I appreciated Joe in his kindness in cutting our grass after we left for Florida in the fall. Joe will be missed.”
