She is survived by: her brother Don Shiel (An Sun); her brother-in-law Jerry Hughes; and her nieces and nephews, Scott (Kelly), Graham (Melissa), Clay Church (Ami), Lisa (Nick), Matt (Stephanie), Daniel Hughes, Stephanie (William) and Donnie Shiel. She is also survived by many great-nephews and nieces and one great-great-niece.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Helen Community Baptist Church.
