He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilford Henry and Norma Jean Root (Whaley); and his brother Gregory Allen Root. He is survived by: his brother Todd Root (Delaney) of Houston, Texas; and his pet Tiger. He is also survived by many nieces; nephews; cousins; and close friends.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Community Baptist Church of Saginaw, or charity of your choice.
