It is with sadness that the passing of Leonard A. Friske (Saginaw, Michigan) is shared. Leonard, born on September 2, 1931, passed away on October 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Friske and Wanda Friske (Wojda); his wife Mary Ann Trier; his siblings, Claude Friske (Betty), Lorraine Haskin (Matthew), Barbara Kersten (Kenneth), Dave Friske (Eleanor), Ernest Friske (Germaine), William Friske (Mary), Delores Gardyszewski (William), Raymond Friske and Rita Dubay; and his brothers-in-law, Ron Beyer and Tony Gronski.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy, Tom McDonald, Michael Friske, Alan Friske (Renee Labair), Steven, Leanne Friske, Lynette, Julie, Jeff Bressette and Hope; his siblings, Lucille Beyer, Patricia Gronski and Louis Friske (Pam); and his brother-in-law Leon Dubay. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (3945 Williamson Rd, Saginaw, MI 48601). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Friends may visit at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Saginaw County Humane Society or Advisa Care Hospice.
