He was predeceased by: his father Luis Rivera; his grandparents, Amado, Leandra Zapata, Domingo and Reynalda Lopez; his father-in-law Jose Villarreal; and his aunts, Lydia Lopez and Mary Silvia.
He is survived by: his mother Gloria Delgado (Zapata); his wife Bianca Villarreal; his sons, Luis Jose Rivera and Lorenzo Ricardo Rivera; his stepfather Ricardo Delgado; his siblings, Alexandra Cruz (Santos), Alicia Medina, Eddie Rivera (Christina), Toni Rivera (Phillip Orozco), Pete Rivera and Angelo Perez (Deana Barajas); his cousin Priscilla Zapata; his mother-in-law JoAnn Villarreal; and his siblings' children, Santos and Anthony Cruz.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish - St. Anthony of Padua Catholic (3680 S Washington Rd, Saginaw, MI 48601). A burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (3440 S Washington Rd, Saginaw, MI 48601).
Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary and Vigil Service beginning at 5:00 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the wishes of the family.
