It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marla J. Comtois (Saginaw, Michigan), who passed away on April 14, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marla J. Comtois to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar McWethy and Lucy McWethy (Wallace); her husband Kenneth Comtois; her granddaughter Sydney; and her siblings, Lorna Johnson and Clifford McWethy.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick W., Maureen Comtois, Christine, Brian Buckingham, Philip, Krystal Comtois and Mark Comtois; her grandchildren, Nicole Rogers (Ryan), Alexandra Lane (Nicholas), Samuel Buckingham, Faith Buckingham, Grace Buckingham, Andrew Comtois and Kathryn Comtois; her sister Beverly Schanck; and her siblings-in-law, Leonard Johnson and Vivian McWethy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Monday, April 20, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
