The memory of Marlene Elizabeth (Golz) Davenport (Saginaw, Michigan), who passed away on October 10, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Golz and Ann Golz (Mangutz); her husband Sam; her son Bryan Joseph; her stepfather Fred Thompson; her siblings, Barb Wargo, John Golz and Frank Golz; and her brothers-in-law, Bob Wargo and Frank Dudek.
She is survived by: her children, Renee Herrington (George), Keith Davenport (Kristin), Sammy Davenport (Jill), Rebecca LaFrance (Ray) and Juston Davenport (Melanie); her grandchildren, Shelby (Matt), Karli (Maddy), Kyle (Kylee), Conner, Nickales, Lydia, Joshua, Riley, Ivy, Blair, Dylan, Dawson, Mikel, Aubrey and Kinley; her great grandchildren, Colt, Ava and Lakyn; her siblings, Kay Dudek, Rita Kirchner (Tom) and Larry Golz (Mary); and her sister-in-law Sharon Golz.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (419 S Midland St, Merrill, MI 48637). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery (3231 S Homer Rd, Merrill, MI 48637).
