She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Vela and Angela Vela (Espinoza); and her siblings, Manuel, Joe, Charles, Edward, Robert, Guillermo Vela, Rachael Heredia and Gobita "Hope" Chappins.
She is survived by: her children, Guillermo Martinez Jr. (Alicia), Theresa Martinez Acevedo, Daniel Martinez (Rose), Michael Martinez and David Martinez (Martha); her grandchildren, Nina Martinez, Guillermo Martinez III, Melissa Stievo (Nate), Arthur Acevedo Jr. (Stephanie), Gabriel Acevedo, Samantha Martinez, Nicholas Martinez (Nichole), Rudy Martinez, Cherie Martinez and Marissa Martinez; and her great grandchildren, Marcelis King, Nivia King, Anissa King, Seqario King, Xavier Martinez, Lilly Anna Martinez, Consintino Venegas, Lucas Martinez and Kataleya Martinez. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
