He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Kennedy; his brother Stephen Kennedy; his brothers-in-law, William Sullivan, Chet Norris, Daniel Hagood and Dominic Okowit; and his nephew Brendan Kennedy.

He is survived by: his mother Susannah Kennedy (Stark); his wife Jann Kennedy; his sons, James Kennedy and John Kennedy; his siblings, Karen Sullivan, Gail Norris, Sandra Hagood, Julie Okowit and Mark Kennedy (Connie); and his sister-in-law Amparo Kennedy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
